As a NAATI Certified Auslan-English Interpreter with over 10 years experience I recognise the role of an interpreter is one that comes with privilege.
We are routinely invited into the lives of others which carries with it a great responsibility. I take this responsibility very seriously and guard the confidentiality and privacy of my clients as I would expect others would do for me. What type of bookings can you do?
Over the years I have worked in many different spaces, it would be impossible to list them all here! But rest assured if your request is outside the scope of what I can provide I will be sure to let you know. I might be able to help you source the right person for the job too!
Some common booking requests are; birthday parties, weddings, mental health/legal appointments, court dates, funerals, sporting events and parent teacher interviews just to give you an idea.
What Qualifications do you have?
I am a NAATI Certified Interpreter (lvl3) which qualifies me to work in all spaces including Legal and Mental Health. This qualification is renewed every three years, I can be found listed on the NAATI websites Online Directory.
I also hold an Advanced Diploma of Interpreting and a Bachelors Degree with a Linguistics Major.
Are you insured?
Of course! Like any business it is my responsibility to ensure I am adequately insured to perform my work.
Do you hold a Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check?
Absolutely, both of these checks are kept up to date and should you require I am more than happy to provide proof of attainment prior to any booking.
Not all interpreters have booking websites, why do you have one?
This website was born out of a need to make the booking process simpler for clients. It also ensures that important information like my Service Agreement is readily available to view at anytime which increases transparency.
What if my booking requires a second interpreter?
Certain bookings will require more than one interpreter. I will be sure to discuss this with you at the time of booking.
You are more than welcome to source your own additional interpreter/s from any service you prefer or if you like I am happy to assist securing an additional interpreter/s for your booking.
